What is a Hytale server status checker?
A server status checker lets you query any Hytale server to see if it's online, how many players are connected, the server version, and other details. It's useful for server owners to monitor uptime and for players to check if a server is available before joining.
What's the difference between Nitrado Query and HyQuery?
Nitrado Query (port 5523) is used by servers hosted on Nitrado's platform. HyQuery (port 5520) is an alternative query protocol. The method you need depends on how your server is set up. If one doesn't work, try the other.
Why is my server showing as offline?
Common reasons include: using the wrong query method, incorrect port number, the server not having query enabled, or firewall rules blocking the query port. Make sure your server has Nitrado Query or HyQuery enabled and that the correct port is open.
What information does the status checker show?
When a server is online, you'll see the current player count, maximum player slots, server version, latency (ping time), and the Message of the Day (MOTD) if the server has one configured.
What does latency mean?
Latency (measured in milliseconds) is the time it takes for data to travel between our checker and the server. Lower latency means a faster connection. Under 100ms is excellent, 100-200ms is good, and over 200ms may result in noticeable lag when playing.
Is this tool free to use?
